Service Description

Discover the joys of pottery in this handbuilding class for students of all levels! From crafting functional ceramics like cups and bowls to exploring your artistic side with sculpting, there's something for you. We'll guide you through different techniques while leaving room for your imagination to soar and have fun. Although this is not a project based class, projects may be assigned to assist students in expanding their handbuilding skills. Class will be co-taught by Kb and Rebecca Rahm Included in the price of your class is a 25lb bag of clay as well as 2.5 hours of open studio time per week, to be used immediately following your class. Tool kits must be purchased by students. The Kemper Pottery Tool kit is available at Dick Blick and Michaels stores.

Cancellation Policy

1. The Art Center reserves the right to cancel classes or camps due to insufficient enrollment. If The Art Center cancels a class or camp, registrants will receive a refund. We reserve the right to substitute an instructor if necessary. 2. The Art Center does not pro-rate class or camp fees. 3. Membership fees are non-refundable. 4. Four business days notice must be given before the start of the first class if you wish to cancel. 5. Registration changes and cancellations will incur an administrative fee of $30. 6. Refunds will be processed within 30 days after the 1st day of the start of class. 6a. For high demand classes: if you cancel your registration and vacate your seat, we will retain 50% of your initial registration fee to pay the instructor, if the seat cannot be filled. This is in addition to the $30 administration fee. 7. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the beginning of the class or camp.
